NSW SES Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan Launch

Today, I had the privilege of representing the State Emergency Service Association of NSW at the official launch of the NSW SES Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), held at State Headquarters in Wollongong.

The Reflect RAP marks an important step in the Service’s ongoing journey toward reconciliation, acknowledging the deep cultural connections of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to Country, and their vital contribution to community safety and emergency management across New South Wales.

The launch event brought together members of the NSW SES, community leaders, and partner organisations to celebrate this milestone and reaffirm our shared commitment to respect, inclusion, and understanding.

The State Emergency Service Association of NSW proudly supports the values of respect, inclusion, and understanding that underpin reconciliation. We look forward to working collaboratively with the Service to ensure these commitments are reflected in the experiences of all members.

We congratulate the NSW SES on this significant achievement and commend the work of those who contributed to the development of the Reflect RAP.
