ASSOCIATION STANDS FIRMLY BEHIND SES MEMBERS FOLLOWING LILY HOOPER SEARCH
The State Emergency Service Association of NSW extends its deepest sympathies to the family, friends and loved ones of Lily Hooper following the tragic conclusion to the search in the Southern Highlands.
Our thoughts and condolences remain first and foremost with Lily’s family and friends during this profoundly difficult time.
More than 280 NSW State Emergency Service volunteers contributed to the extensive multi-agency search, working long hours in remote, rugged and physically demanding terrain often in extremely challenging conditions.
The Association stands firmly behind the NSW State Emergency Service volunteers who answered the call when they were needed, devoting their time, skills and compassion to this difficult search. Throughout the operation they undertook their tasks with professionalism, dedication and care.
Search operations of this nature can have significant personal and emotional impact on those involved. The Association will continue to support affected members in the days and weeks ahead.
